Olds, AB – From July 11 to 14, the 12th Annual Provincial Sheep Show brought together 54 4-H Sheep Project members in a dazzling display of Alberta’s finest sheep projects. Hosted in Olds, the event was a wonderful opportunity for youth in agriculture to showcase their Ewe Lambs, Yearling Lambs, and Mature Lambs with lambs at foot.
The show was a platform for the bonding and mutual support between Beef and Sheep 4-H members. The air was filled with excitement on Wednesday afternoon as 21 flocks were exhibited in a highly contested competition.
The hard work and dedication of 4-H members did not go unnoticed, as several walked away with coveted titles:

Special congratulations to Kurt Y. from St. Paul 4-H Multi Club for winning the Champion Flock and to Julianne M. from Grassy Lake 4-H Club for securing the Reserve Champion Flock.
This successful event was the result of countless hours of hard work from community members and volunteers. A special thank you to the 4-H members who came over from the beef barn to help out, making it a true community effort.
