Tim and Lois Andrews have been honored with the East Central 4-H Region Award of Distinction for their outstanding dedication, commitment, and belief in the 4-H program. With over 25 years of leadership and volunteer experience in their club, district, and region, Tim and Lois have made a significant impact on the 4-H community.
As former 4-H members themselves, Tim and Lois started the Dryland Sheep Club and Youngstown Shake ‘N Bake Club, respectively. Their four sons, all Key Members for the Hanna District, developed excellent public speaking, judging, and leadership skills thanks to Tim and Lois’s guidance and support.
In addition to their club involvement, Tim and Lois have been active at the district, regional, and provincial levels. They have held various roles, including District Beef Leader, District Council President, District Treasurer, and Regional Treasurer. Lois has also served on the Provincial Public Speaking Committee and has judged public speaking and presentations at club, district, and regional levels.
Their contributions extend to organizing numerous events, such as the District Fun Day, District Dances, Multi Species Judging, and the Western Region Leaders Forum. Through their years of service, Tim and Lois have not only enriched the lives of their own children but have positively impacted countless 4-H members and leaders in their community.
