Thanking Our Retiring Ambassadors

On behalf of the entire 4-H Alberta Program Team, we want to take this opportunity to thank our retiring Ambassadors. Over the past two years, you have significantly impacted 4-H Alberta, and your contributions have been invaluable. You’ve worked hard in your regions and across the province, embodying the spirit of 4-H by connecting with members, supporting initiatives, and promoting growth in ways that will be felt for years to come.

Your dedication and leadership have strengthened our program and taught us the value of learning through doing. You’ve set an incredible example, and in doing so, you’ve helped all of us—staff and members alike—grow alongside you.

We are so grateful for your commitment and hard work. As you move forward from this role, we know you will continue to inspire those around you, just as you’ve done within the 4-H Alberta community.

Our Retiring Ambassadors:

About 4-H Alberta

4-H Alberta is the new streamlined youth development body registered under the Canada Not-for-profit Corporations Act. It combines the former three-party organizations that operated 4-H in Alberta; the 4-H Council of Alberta, the 4-H Foundation of Alberta, and the 4-H Section of Alberta Agriculture and Forestry.

After extensive consultation with Alberta’s 4-H community, changes to the current structure were deemed necessary. The newly formed 4-H Alberta involves new governance, a new structure and operating model that is efficient and effective, supported by a modernized constitution/by-law alignment to coordinate 4-H staff and volunteer roles and build operational harmony for the growth of the 4-H leadership program in Alberta.
