The fair took place at the Edmonton Convention Centre in Edmonton, Alberta. Dykeman's project, titled 'An Innovative Approach to Ammonia in Poultry Operations', proposed the use of Prussian Blue or Prussian Blue + Biochar as bedding additives in poultry operations for ammonia adsorption. Her exceptional work in this project earned her the Bronze Senior Excellence Award and the Senior Technology in Agriculture Award, complete with a $1000 cash prize.
