Participation
All 4-H members who register in the 4-H Alberta Beef Heifer Show are automatically entered into the following five competition areas:
- 4-H Marketing: A NEW exciting marketing project: Marketing your 4-H Project
- Conformation Competition: Beyond skill-building workshops, you’ll have the opportunity to showcase your prized project animal in a series of conformation classes. It’s a chance to see where your project stands among peers and receive feedback from seasoned professionals.
- Showmanship: Master the art of presenting your beef heifer in the ring.
- Multi-Species Judging: This is a required 4-H competition! All members are automatically entered in the appropriate age category. Members compete as individuals and stay with their assigned groups.
- Team Grooming: Members will compete as teams in the grooming competition, using a registered animal.
