Who Can Attend: Youth ages 9 (born 2016)-15 year olds, who have never participated in a 4-H Intro Club.

Intro Clubs are a special, one-time 4-H program designed to give youth ages 9–15 a “Taste of 4-H.” Unlike traditional 4-H clubs, this program is short-term, just six weeks, and gives participants the chance to explore a variety of projects and activities in a hands-on, fun, and supportive environment.

Through our “Learn to Do By Doing” approach, youth will try projects such as Micro Greens, Pottery, Terrariums, STEM, Cookie Decorating, Chocolate Tasting, and more.* Each session sparks creativity, curiosity, and critical thinking while helping participants build important life skills like communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and record-keeping — all while making new friends.

This EXPLORE 4-H program runs on Wednesday evenings, 6:30–8:30 pm, starting April 8th at Westview Village Community Hall (10770 Winterburn Rd NW, Edmonton). With a short six-week commitment, busy families can get a full, hands-on experience of what 4-H has to offer without a long-term commitment – perfect for families with a lot on the go who want to see what 4-H is all about.

There are only 15 spots available so please register as soon as possible to ensure your child(ren) has a spot. The cost to register is $120. Registration includes all programming, special guest instructors, workshop supplies, snacks each week and a 4-H bag.

Don’t miss out on this incredible opportunity to be a part of the first 4-H Intro Club in Edmonton.

*Workshops subject to change based on availability. List of workshops below.

Parent Involvement: Being part of 4-H means that your family will have opportunities to play, work and learn together. In this short six-week intro club, although not mandatory, we encourage parents/caregivers to choose one date that they could attend and support the club. Families will also be invited to attend the last hour of the final date for an achievement celebration.

BONUS: Intro-Club members will also be on the list to receive invitations to any free bonus events offered (even if the events are offered next year).

Financial assistance up to $60 may be available – please contact introclubs@4hab.com for details.
