Gayelene Bonenfant grew up on a mixed farm in Macrorie, Saskatchewan and was an active member of the Macrorie Multiple/Beef 4-H Club for ten years. During her time in 4-H, Gayelene and her father established a purebred cattle operation, an experience that sparked her lifelong interest in finance and entrepreneurship.
Gayelene is a senior accounting and risk specialist based in Calgary, with a diverse career spanning technology, energy, transportation, non-profit, academia, and agriculture. She is a past director of the board of MS Canada, where she held several leadership roles including chairperson of the provincial division board and secretary and treasurer of the national board, in addition to serving on numerous committees.
In her spare time, Gayelene enjoys reading, travelling, volunteering, and spending quality time with family and friends.
