Kathleen Linder
Area Director Northwest
Kathleen Linder was raised in Edmonton, Alberta and came to the 4-H program through her parents who were involved with the Alberta Llama Association. Her parents encouraged her daughter to join this “Spittin’Image 4-H Lama Club”. She knew nothing about 4-H but long story short, joining 4-H was the best choice for all of her family.
Kathleen spent 32 years in the financial industry providing customer service, and is now retired. She was elected as a Trustee for Parkland School Division, representing over 10,000 students, and served in this role for 10 years. She is currently a member of the Stony Plain Lions Club and a board member of Parkland County Libraries.
Kathleen and her husband live on 75 acres of recreational property southwest of Stony Plain, Alberta. They have two adult children, four cats, three big rescue dogs, and three horses. She loves to garden, sew, quilt, knit, and try anything crafty.
Kathleen is looking forward to the future of 4-H in Alberta and its continued success.
