Senior Symposium (Spring) & Trip Selection

Home / Senior Symposium (Spring) & Trip Selection

The Senior Symposium program is designed exclusively for 4-H Alberta’s Senior Members. This event offers a unique opportunity for members to come together, have fun, and connect with professionals and specialists in topics relevant to their lives and futures. Through interactive workshops, participants will explore and discover who they are, expand their minds, and build valuable knowledge and skills.

On Friday, participants will choose between two streams:

  • Trip Selection Stream: Members who apply for trips will engage in activities tailored to the selection process, showcasing their strengths and readiness.
  • Non-Trip Stream: Members not applying for trips will participate in hands-on activities and workshops focused on personal growth and collaboration.

Saturday will be spent as a large group. It will be followed by a banquet dinner and ending the night with a 4-H Dance. On Sunday morning, we will finish the weekend off with a special guest!

The Senior Symposium is more than an event—it’s a chance for Senior Members to unlock their potential and prepare for exciting opportunities ahead!

“The speakers were really great. I loved the candidate conversations about topics that we don’t really talk about enough. It was great to have a safe space.”
