In compliance with the restrictions official announcement made by Alberta Health Services on April 24, 2020, 4-H Alberta has made the decision to suspend all in-person activities and events until Wednesday, September 30, 2020. This also means that all in person summer camps, shows and competitions, and programs have been suspended and will not be delivered in their traditional manner
We have some exciting news for you for summer 2020 regarding virtual shows and real partnership!
We know that 4-H members have been working hard on their projects and want to give 4-H’ers the opportunity to showcase their female projects. With many areas not having a female show the committees think it is very important to provide this opportunity to beef members this year! Join fellow 4-H beef project enthusiasts from across Alberta for three and a half jam-packed days of competition, networking and all-around beef bliss! No animal? Don’t worry about it. Either way, you’ll get to learn from experts as they share their knowledge on the latest trends and topics related to the beef industry.
You’re not just a beef project member; you’re also a member and an advocate of the industry. And it’s an exciting time for the beef industry, making it an opportune time for you learn more and get more involved! At this event, you’ll broaden your view and deepen your knowledge of the beef industry, network with experts and fellow youth. You’ll see your ability to recognize quality and to market animals improve, you’ll grow more confident in your teamwork, decision making and communication skills, and most importantly, you’ll enjoy every minute and make awesome new friends! No female project animal?
No problem! Any member registered in the beef project, with any level of experience, can particfipate in the Beef Heifer Show without an animal.
Registration Cost
Registration (Deadline June 22, 2020): $25* plus $15 per additional project.
*Note: $25 includes one project entry

- Registration is not considered complete until full payment is received.

Provincial Event Registration Policies
- Online Registration opens at 12:00 am on the first day of registration and is available 24 hours a day until midnight of the registration deadline.
- Registration is not considered complete until full payment is received.
- All requests for late registration (after the Regular Registration Deadline) will be accepted at the sole discretion of the program lead and will be subject to an additional fee of $25.00 on top of the Regular Registration cost.
- An administrative fee of $25.00 will be retained on all cancellations. Cancellations received less than 14 days before the event start date will forfeit the entire registration fee unless a delegate replacement is available or extenuating circumstances are at play.
