There is so much more to judging than simply putting animals or items in the same order as the official judge. Judging in 4-H helps us to LEARN, EVALUATE, MAKE DECISIONS, COMMUNICATE AND DEVELOP CONFIDENCE. It encourages members to think comparatively and to qualify their reasons. When you get right down to it, our judging project prepares youth for life’s choices, where making decisions is an everyday occurrence. You be the judge!
