What is a 4-H Intro Club: During a 4-H Intro Club you experience the power of hands-on learning with our “Learn to Do By Doing” program and get a “Taste of 4-H”! Over six exciting weeks, youth aged 9-15 will explore a variety of 4-H projects including: Food Science, Pottery, Chocolate making, Watercolour Painting, Reptiles and more. Each session sparks creativity, curiosity, and critical thinking while helping you develop new skills in a fun and interactive environment.
Not only will participants have fun, but they’ll also gain valuable skills such as running a business meeting, enhancing communication and record-keeping abilities, and making lifelong friends. Our unique projects and activities are designed to develop problem-solving, critical thinking, teamwork, and communication skills in a supportive environment.
Fun, friends, and unforgettable hands-on learning, all in just 6 sessions! Please note that transportation to each location is the responsibility of parents or caregivers.
Spaces are limited to 15 participants. Note: 4-H Intro Club will not be part of the Athletics with BCS@Home
Registration closes on Wednesday, September 30th or when the club is full. Cost is ONLY $185 per member. Don’t miss this opportunity for your child to explore, learn, and have fun!
*Workshops subject to change based on availability. List of workshops below.
Parent Involvement: Being part of 4-H means your family gets to play, work, and learn together. In this short Intro Club, parent/caregiver involvement isn’t mandatory, but we do encourage families to attend if able — whether that means helping out or simply observing the fun! You’ll also be invited to join us for the final hour of the last session to celebrate what the youth have accomplished during our Achievement Celebration on November 18th.
