4-H Intro Clubs – Touring Club Edition

This 4-H Intro Club is designed for youth ages 9–15 and runs for six weeks on Tuesday or Wednesday evenings. The first five weeks run 6:30–8:30 pm, and the final evening is 6:00–8:30 pm. Wednesdays will always be held at Shepard Hall, while Tuesdays take place on location for our hands-on workshops. With a short commitment and a big impact, this program is perfect for busy families who want an “all-in-one” experience and a chance to discover what 4-H is all about.

During an Intro Club, youth experience the power of hands-on learning with our “Learn to Do By Doing” approach and get a true “Taste of 4-H.” Over six exciting weeks, participants will explore a variety of 4-H projects including: Food Science, Pottery, Horsemanship, Stumpcraft Puzzle Factory, Reptiles and Archery. Each session sparks creativity, curiosity, and critical thinking while helping youth build new skills in a fun and interactive environment.

Not only will participants have fun, but they’ll also gain valuable life skills such as running a business meeting, improving communication and record-keeping, problem-solving, and teamwork — all while making new friends in a supportive setting.

Parent Involvement: Being part of 4-H means your family gets to play, work, and learn together. In this short Intro Club, parent/caregiver involvement isn’t mandatory, but we do encourage families to attend if able — whether that means helping out or simply observing the fun! You’ll also be invited to join us for the final hour of the last session to celebrate what the youth have accomplished during our Achievement Celebration on June 23rd.

BONUS: All Intro-Club members will receive invitations to several other free opportunities later in the year including bonus learning days including a tour at 4-H on Parade (end of May 2026) and more.
