2025 South 4-H Region Communications Event
TO COMPETE AT REGIONALS, YOU MUST QUALIFY & REGISTER ONLINE! WHO? Members who place 1st and 2nd in each category of their 2024 District Communications Event. Categories where 1st or 2nd place cannot attend, 3rd place winners may compete. WHEN? March 15, 2025 – Lethbridge College HOW? 1st, 2nd, 3rd place winners – please REGISTER ONLINE at https://www.4habregistration.ca/signin by March 5th, 2025. *Registration is required to participate at the Regional Level. Registration opens: February 14, 2025 Deadline to register is March 5th, 2025 – NO late registrations accepted. If you placed 3rd at your District event, please register, as you may earn a spot to compete. If you placed first, second or third at your District event but do not wish to compete at the Regional level, please let your District Communications committee know. If you placed 3rd and are registered, you will receive communication from the committee if your application to compete is accepted (ie. 1st or 2nd are unable to attend). Along with provincial events, these amazing 4-H’ers are looking to help out at Regional programming and select district / club level programs. Please contact them using their shared email address!
- Provincial fees – remain unchanged from 2023-2024
- $120 / Junior, Intermediate, Senior Members
- $30 / Cleaver Kids
- South 4-H Region fees – remain unchanged from 2023-2024
- $20 / Junior, Intermediate, Senior Members
- Cleaver Kids – no charge
- Please do not pay your regional fees until you have received your invoice!
- South 4-H Region Horse Committee fees (all members registered in a horse project)
- Will be due upon receipt of invoice. Amount TBD
- South Region District Fees – please consult your district
Beef Standards, and Sheep Standards have been updated by your Provincial Advisory Committees. Please ensure your clubs and district / regional committees are aware of all changes for the year!
- If you last screened in 2021-2022 or sooner, you need to rescreen in the upcoming 2024-2025 year.
- Activities beyond the club level require an approved activity plan
- This includes but is not limited to communications events, achievement days, clinics
- If you club has a high-risk activity planned, it too will need an activity plan
- When in doubt (high-risk), please complete an activity plan, or contact your Area Coordinator
- It is important to be in good standing at every level of 4-H Alberta.
